Everything we do in Full Gospel Global Forum, through each and every Fellowship and member, is to help people have a personal relationship with the living God and fulfil their full God-given potential. This is a journey of faith.
The first step is realising that you, me, everybody has messed up, made mistakes, fallen short and lived life selfishly. The bible calls this sin. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) We have all done things that displease God. Now, that's a major problem. Why is that a problem? Sin robs us of the quality of life we could live here and now, and even worse, also robs us of eternal life. Sin separates us from God, the source of life and love. The good news is that God has a get out clause for us, a solution that gives us a fresh start in life, a better life, an eternal life. "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Why would God give us a second chance? It is because He loves us passionately, completely, without reserve, without measure. His love for us is powerful, transformative, life changing and life giving. "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) God is true and just. Every crime has a consequence, it must not go unpunished. The ultimate punishment is separation from God, which is separation from the source of all love and life, for all eternity, starting now. When we've messed up, we've broken laws, God's laws. Our catalogue of crimes are worthy of a death sentence. However, God wants to be reconciled to us. He has made it possible for our crimes to be paid for. His son, Jesus Christ, made a one time, for all time, for all of us, sacrifice. He was without sin, but chose to take the sins of all of us upon himself and was condemned to death. "Greater love has no man than this, that he should lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) We can be friends of God! His greatest desire is to have a relationship with you and give you life in all its fullness. The very reason that Jesus came to earth, leaving behind the glory of heaven to live life as a human being, was to give us life. "The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you life and life in all its fullness." (John 10:10) The good news is that Jesus conquered death. He lay dead in a tomb for 3 days, but rose back to life. He walked out of the grave with our freedom in hand - freedom from sin, freedom from death, freedom from the mistakes of our past. He offers us salvation from eternal death, as He has conquered death! He offers the free gift of life in all its fullness, eternal life, a life lived with God, for whom nothing is impossible. How can you accept this free gift? "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) This offer and invitation of a fresh start in life, a better life, an eternal life with God, is open to everyone and anyone. It doesn't matter what you've done or believed in the past. No-one is excluded. You qualify. Isn't that good news! "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13) All of this can be summed up in this verse - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, so that whoever believes in Him, will not die, but have eternal life." (John 3:16). The good news doesn't stop there. You would think that if God, the source of all power, love and life, wants to give us a new life, a better life, that he would help us live that life. He does! He actually puts His spirit in us - His power, His authority, His love, His life. He equips us to live, directs us, speaks with us, gives us wisdom and even performs miracles through us. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you."(Acts 1:8) What life he offers! That is why we are so passionate about sharing the gospel in FGGF and getting people filled with the Holy Spirit. We testify about the truth of this, as we have experienced it in each of our lives. Thousands of us. Please, take a step of faith and accept God's offer of eternal life, starting now. It all starts by saying the prayer below, sincerely. Then reach out to us and let us help you grow and maximise this gift of life. Be part of this fellowship: “Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I now realise that I have a choice to make about my life. I believe that Jesus died for me, shed His blood to wash away my sins, and that He rose from the dead, making a way for me to have fellowship with You. I turn my back on the life I have lived without You, and I choose to follow Jesus from this moment on. I ask Jesus to be Lord of my life and to live in my heart. I thank You, Almighty God, that You love me, have forgiven me, and have accepted me as Your child, and that right now I am a new creation, born of God. There are many ways to grow as a Christian. Daily prayer to talk with God, as all relationships are defined by the quality of our communication and the amount of time we spend together. Meeting fellow believers regularly to worship and fellowship together, which provides experience and encouragement. Putting your faith in action by serving Him and seeing first hand how God can work through you. All these things can include reading the word of God.
